For two years now we have planned to take Connor skiing and we finally made it happen. Connor has never been flying in an airplane or skiing and he got to do both. The child was so excited as one might expect that we heard for several weeks, "How many more days?" Connor and I were fortunate to be able to fly and only check one bag because Doug met us in Colorado with all our stuff and a car to be able to get around in. As I sit and write this, poor Doug is traveling back to West Texas to work for the week (and stay in a hotel for several more nights...YUCK).
Connor even got excited about little things like...the moving walkway at the airport:)

Walking into an airport for the first time

Eating an early lunch at the airport before spending the next few hours flying...this is also where Connor left his jacket and we didn't realize it until we were on the plane so I darted off the plane and through the airport and back while my baby was left alone on a plane worrying that his mom was going to miss the flight:(

This was right after take off and he didn't quit smiling the entire flight

I don't think I saw the front of his head the entire time he was in the plane

Commuting in a train from the terminal to the baggage pick-up in Denver

Connor insisted he wasn't tired after Day One of skiing, but for some reason he was snoring on our 10 minute ride from the mountain to the hotel.

Day Two...Connor left his gloves in the car overnight and they turned into popsicle sticks...Doug and I held them up to the heat for 10 minutes and they thawed out and were toasty warm:)...Connor learned his lesson!
