Doug made plans for the boys to go to Eustace, Texas one Saturday with a bunch of church friends to go fishing. Connor LOVES to go fishing, but the twins not as much thrilled. They told Doug they wanted to stay home with mom, but he really wanted me to tag along with all the men and have a family day...so off we went! We started off making a trip to the local donut store for all the boys (including Doug) to fill up with sugary goodness and then we were off for the 2 hour drive. As soon as we arrived the twins quickly changed their attitude about the trip. We arrived to a little piece of heaven. The private property was a few hundred acres of rolling hills with a huge pond that had a concrete walking path all the way around it. The boys fished and I ran...so momma was happy! We stayed for several hours fishing, running around, riding bikes/scooters, and just living it up. We enjoyed a picinic lunch and stopped for dinner on the way home late that night. The boys are excited about getting the opportunity to go back again!

The boys got to ride with the property manager on the cart to the pond...what a way to start the day!

The minute we pulled up to the pond off the boys ran to see Mr. Jason.

Mr. Jason says whoever reels in the fish is the catcher...so Grant caught a fish:)

and so did Preston:)

Doug getting Grant started fishing.

Grant patiently waiting on a fish to jump on his rod, but the sun sure was bothering him.

Not a problem...Mr. Dipply Do requested mom's sunglasses:) (I'm sure this is blackmail!)

The fisherman fishing without shoes on the boat trailer...go figure.

Grant and Preston going with Mr. Ray on his fishing boat. They were in heaven.

Karate choppin' Preston...
