Cute Boys

I found the twins new t-shirts conveniently in their favorite colors. There a little big, but they will have to do. Connor also wanted in on the pics and had to tag Harley Lou with him. They just LOVE that sweet dog!

We Are The Champions

The Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Championship! Honey treated the boys to new t-shirts.

Arbo Day With Our Friends

Every year we make plans to get together with our special Halpin friends to go see the loads of pumpkins at the Dallas Arboretum. This year we have been so busy that we haven't gotten to spend much time with them so we especially had a great time. It is so fun to see how big the boys are getting and watch how they interact with each other. It's almost as if they live right next door to each other...unfortunately that is far from the truth.

Grant was such the helper! He pushed Mrs. Rachel's stroller and carried our food:)

Aunt Etta's Birthday

In October we went to Oklahoma for a very special Aunt's birthday. Doug's great aunt turned 93! The entire extended family packed up and traveled to the boy's old hometown to celebrate Etta with Doug's dad, Joy, and Etta's friends. Etta truly enjoyed the surprise get together. After the party we went to Doug's dad's "5 Acres". This was a special place to Doug growing up. Ed has 3 horses out there that all the grandchildren got to spend time riding. I don't know who had more fun...Grandpa Ed or the kids:)

Let's Play Some Footballlllllll

I haven't been to a Midlothian football game since high school...18 years ago! I was so excited when we made the last minute decision to go and take the family. I, of course, wanted to see the band perform which ended up NOT happening! I was promised we could go to another game this season to see them at half-time because they didn't perform until the end of this game due to homecoming festivities and....we left at the third quarter when Midlothian was getting stomped on! Needless to say we all had fun and saw a bunch of friends.

Here come the Midlothian Panthers!

Jax loved waiving at the mascots.

Homecoming Parade 2011

It has become a tradition that Shelley and I meet up with all the boys and go watch the Midlothian Homecoming Parade every year. This year we also met up with the Sills so the kids got to hang out with Lilly Kate and AJ. Grant stood in his chair for probably 15 minutes looking for the start of the parade. Connor just wanted candy...and Preston was just glad to be out of the house since he technically had strep! As usual fun was had by all until we took the annual cousin pic. I get tickled every year because with 5 kids not all are going to cooperate at the same time. This year did not disappoint!
