Fun Times at Miller

I brought the twins McDonalds for lunch and on the side of the happy meals box were mustache cutouts. The twins just loved them:)

In honor of the Christmas season, as room mom I was asked to make Santa cookies for Mrs. King's class and come read a special book. The book was about a man and his cookie shop and how you shouldn't be stingy, but gracious. It was pretty cute. The kids had fun decorating their own cookies with white icing to mimick Santa's beard. Grant tried to eat the leftover icing straight until I put a quick stop to it:)

Pictures At Grandmother's

We got together at Grandmother's house for Thanksgiving and took a bunch of pictures with her. The plan was just to get pics of Grandmother with all the great-grandchildren so she could use it for her Christmas card. This was quite a lengthy process thanks to two little munchkins in the family...Jax and Jake. I don't know who got more tickled Grandmother or the other adults. Poor Aunt Shelley I think was so frustrated, but they were just acting their age and it was plain funny!

Miller Thanksgiving Feast

LaRue Miller Elementary hosts a Thanksgiving feast each year for the parents to come and join their children with a tradional Thanksgiving dinner. Of course, my picky eaters wouldn't come close to eating turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce so we celebrated with McDonalds happy meals:) The boys were all just excited to have me come and eat lunch with them. Grant's class dressed up like Indians (thanks to me cutting out 20 paper sacks) and even gave themselves special names. Grant named himself "Mighty Croc" ...probably because a crocodile is green! A fun time was had by all.

Christmas Pics

This year I dressed the boys up in matching colors and rushed to downtown Waxahachie before the sun went down and snapped a few shots of the boys. I think they turned out pretty good if I do say so myself:) The best part of the trip was that the pics were taken on a railroad track and Preston was so concerned that I was going to get us run over. I reassured him multiple times that I wasn't going to get them killed!

Ministry Tools

Connor and Preston have been taking a balloon shaping class as a ministry tool on Wednesday nights at church. They have enjoyed it so very much and love bringing home fun new shaped things each week. This particular week Connor made me a heart so we proceeded to come home and take fun pictures with it.

My Hunting Boy

This is what Connor comes home looking like after a weekend away at the deer lease. He is wearing the same clothes he left 2 days earlier wearing:( This deer season he shot his first deer plus quite a few others....9 point buck, 4 point buck, a button buck, and a 280 lb pig! He and Doug have been gone just about every weekend and have had a ball.
