Double Lives

Grant and Preston have had a secret for four weeks now...they live double lives. They have a life with Connor and a second life without Connor. They have secrets that Connor doesn't know anything about. Today's secret activity was...the ZOO! I didn't bribe them from telling him, but fortunately for me they didn't let the secret out. We met our best friends Rachel, Owen, and Noah at the Dallas Zoo and spent a few hours outside living up the wonderful weather. The twins took a few minutes before going into the zoo to ride on the new bronzed elephants decorating the entrance.

Once our friends arrived, we went inside and starting chatting it up with a macaw. The boys thought this was soooo funny that they were giggling like little girls:)

Rachel and I both commented on how they weren't lil' boys anymore. The three big boys pretty much walked the entire zoo and insisted they didn't need to ride in the wagon or stroller we were hauling around. I smile with excitement that they are growing up and frown with disappointment at the same time.

I bribed them by telling them we would go get ice cream after we pick up Connor for this shot!
We didn't even make it to the highway before they were sound asleep...now that means we had a good time:)
