Lunch with Connor

We have spent all year long watching the progress of Connor's new school, LaRue Miller Elementary, as we drive back and forth from our house. The twins actually thought it was their school too, so today we decided to visit Connor for lunch. You would have thought the twins won the lottery when I told them what we were going to do. We dropped off Connor at school that morning and they thought we were going to lunch then:) We ran our regular Monday trip to Walmart and then back home and I packed their own lunches in their lunch bags. Finally, off we went to our final destination...THE BIG SCHOOL.
They think they are so big...so off they went to school all by themselves.
We checked in the office and off to the cafeteria we marched. Grant proceeded to find a spot to sit and opened his lunch box and started to dive right in. I sadly informed him that he would have to wait 5 minutes for Connor to arrive. The time finally came! The boys got to sit with Connor's class and seem to fit right in. Grant sat on his knees and was told by the lunch monitor (a lady we know) "Pockets on the bench"...without even blinking an eye, he sat his lil' bottom right down and I just smiled.
After lunch was over, we went back to the office to sign out and the office lady, Jo, offered up stickers to the twins. Don't you know that was the icing on the cake! Now home for a nap and back in 2 hours to big the big boy up.
