What do you get when you have...Type A mom + 2ND grade child who loves the outdoors = An Amazing Rock project:) Connor's teacher had the kids collect 10 rocks from around their home and they were to put the rocks on clay (so they wouldn't move around) and present it in a shoe box or some sort of fashion. WELL...I (the type a mom) bought a presentation board and Connor glued the rocks onto the board with "Liquid Nail" from Doug's garage stash. Those rocks won't move anytime soon! He decided to title the project, "Amazing Rocks" because "Mom...rocks are so amazing" ...I guess I didn't know that:) Connor was then suppose to describe each rock (ex. shiny, smooth, etc). Connor gave each rock a very detailed multiple word description. I typed the words for him and then he cut everything and glued it onto the board by himself. I think he did AWESOME!!!

Looks great Mom and Connor!
What Type A Mom is not telling you is that she spelled a word wrong on the poster! I asked Connor about his project and he told me, "Did you know my mom spelled a word wrong!?!? She typed what I said but a word was still spelled wrong!".....Honey
