Christmas Eve 2009

For the last several years I have ended up working at the hospital on Christmas Eve. I end up getting off work at 7pm and then hurry home to pure chaos. We try to have fun while at the same time hurry everyone to bed so that the true pandemonium can ensue. This year my friend, Laura, and I slid home from the hospital on slick icy roads laughing with white knuckles the entire way. I walked in the door and the boys were all ready to put out the reindeer food so that Santa would know where to come.

The boys sat oreos and milk out for Santa and then scurried off to bed.

This is Connor's stash of gifts from Santa. He asked for a boxing bag and Nintendo DSi. Santa also brought some hunting items and games.

The twins received a Geotrax tunnel, TAG books, games, and digital system to learn to write the alphabet...
and a soccer goal.

This is Preston demonstrating how he came into the room under the wrapping paper covering the doorway.

I LOVE catching pics of the boys as they first see all their gifts!
Doug taking stuff out of boxes just as fast as he can while explaining something to Preston.

They were all interested to see what each one got in their stockings.

Our lil' computer geek.

The twins favorite toy was "Hungry Hungry Hippo." I loved this game as a kid.
