Since the end of December we have had the opportunity to spend quite a bit more family time together. Doug was laid off due to the economy and sick babies are just not being born which means no work for me. We are not worried yet about our future...Doug has had 3 very promising interviews with 3 different companies so he will probably be back in the saddle very soon. That will be a praise although the boys and I kinda like having him around! Doug has found his groove though...he gets up around 8am and gets ready to go to coffee with my dad and his older friends at Whataburger(crack me up laughing). After coffee he decides what honey do's or kid things to work on. While all the kids were out of school recently he took us to our neighborhood developers acreage in Waxahachie to chop down some firewood. This property consists of 55 heavily treed acres with a creek running thru it and it has a beautiful waterfall. I think the boys and I spent 3+ hours hiking and taking pics while Doug chopped down dead trees to bring home for fires.

Preston's turn...
