BLIZZARD - DAY 2

Another day of snowy weather continues which means...the dogs stinky dogs continue to live in the utility room along with the abundance of wet clothes that little kids strip off with each pass from outside to indoors. Today we started the day by having breakfast at Whataburger with the other few people in town that have 4x4s to be able to weather the roads. After breakfast we took food to my sister who now has the stomach bug and is 32 weeks pregnant. Doug literally passed the bag of Gatorade and soup across the doorway without touching:) Then we drove to Ovilla to free some friends out of their driveway so that they could leave since they didn't have electricity. We finally landed at church to hang out with friends who eventually spent the night at our house. We watched the opening ceremony for the Olympics and then piled people all over our house and finished off the next day playing cards and back out in the snow. Having so much snow has made for some GREAT memories!

Grant apparently shared his beloved pillowcases with Daisy and took a pic without any help.
This is what I found when I downloaded pics on the computer:)

Connor's snowman

Playing in the snow was hard work for Grant man!

The Meek and Black children at church

Grant and Preston had their own snowball fight:)

Grant couldn't eat enough snow...he thought that was the best ever!

Preston coming after me.

Jason Meek tackled Connor with a snowball.

Grant and Daddy...Doug had so much fun trying to spin out in the truck.
