Today the twins and I got to go to Connor's school to celebrate Halloween with his first grade class. I was put in charge of the class craft which is demonstrated below. The room mom told me to have them make spiders to decorate with around their houses. They turned out pretty cute and the kids had fun making them.
Then the class broke off into teams of two and as we played Halloween music they raced each other and wrapped their partners in toilet paper to resemble a mummy. The twins thought this was hilarious. Before it was all over, Grant wrapped my legs and then I turned around and wrapped his body. He laughed and laughed.

Then came clean-up of the toilet paper...first they had to throw the paper in the air as if it were raining. The twins had a blast and then actually helped throw it away in the trash can.
Then the kids got to decorate pumpkin cookies with gooey orange icing and Halloween sprinkles. I don't know who ate more icing the entire class or Grant. He just kept licking his cookie.
Connor place his sprinkles in the shape of a cross! Love Him.

Finally, we did the monster dance and when the music turned off the kids had to freeze in place. They were all so cute.

Right before we were allowed to leave Mrs. King (Connor's teacher) announced that if your parent was here then they needed to take you and sign the sign-out sheet before leaving. The class was utterly silent and Preston yelled, "My mommy is here." All the parents erupted in laughter and Mrs King's response was priceless..."Yes, I know and boy am I glad." I don't think she is quite ready for him nor him for her yet!!!
