The Great Pumpkin Painters

We have been counting down the days till the great sugar rush around our house just like everyone else. Connor gives us a daily update. Today I realized that we are finally close enough to do something with our pumpkins and they won't go bad by Halloween. Since pumpkins are so hard to carve for the little guys I decided that we would have a painting party. First we painted the pumpkin brown until we ran out of brown paint and then went back and painted the bottom green (to look like grass).

They worked so hard to make sure every square inch was covered...including themselves:)
Type A Personality mom couldn't wait to finish the project so we pulled out the hairdryer and hurried up the process a bit.

Here is Mr. Free-Spirited making duck faces with the hairdryer.

Our finished project...we sponged letters on to say "The Blacks"

HOW FUN!
