The twins have been dying to take the bus home with Papa Sam. I told them that they had to wait for the first few weeks of school to pass so that Papa had a good routine with his kids. The time had finally arrived and then we encountered some red tape. Technically the boys aren't assigned a bus route since we live so close to the school, but when the school realized they were riding with their grandfather all the red tape was smoothed over. Thank goodness because I don't think the twins would have forgiven me! They got to ride with Papa while he dropped off all his elementary school kids and then they were dropped off before he picked up the high schoolers. We are right in his path between schools and his assigned neighborhood.

I don't think the smile left all their faces for several hours. Now the question is "When can we ride with Papa again?"
