I thought it would be in my best interest to let the twins get settled into a schedule at school before going to eat lunch with them. I most certainly didn't want to cause anyone to get upset by seeing me and thinking they were going to go home early. It was about 5 weeks into school and I made a surprise appearance. The twins actually have lunch (brunch) at 10:45am...how can anyone be hungry then? I sat and watched them eat and talked to their new friends. At first I asked Preston if he would move and go sit with Grant's class and he told me no. I then went to Grant and asked him to move and he told me no. What is a girl to do? I went back to Preston and he willingly changed his mind. Whoever knew that moving seats would be such an issue! We had a great visit and then I left and quickly picked up lunch at Whataburger for Connor and myself and returned. Connor eats lunch at a normal time...11:55am. He was excited to see me and more excited I think to have a cheeseburger and a root beer. I tried not to embarrass him to bad and only took one picture. I am trying to be an understanding parent of a 3rd grader...hehehe!
