San Antonio Seaworld

As part of our vacation to San Antonio we spent the Saturday at Seaworld. Doug and I took Connor several years ago and finally thought the twins were old enough to appreciate a visit. As soon as we arrived we literally darted off to the dolphin feeding exhibit so that we might possible get a chance to feed them. We were so so lucky to be one of the very first ones to buy the tiniest fishies of the day to feed to the dolphins. They were so hungry and eager to approach us for a tasty treat. All of the kids received four fish each...Connor went first then Grant caught on and took his turn with a boost from mom so that he could see. Preston still wasn't very sure of what he had gotten himself into and darted around the corner to hide from us. Doug went chasing after him and we forced him to feed the dolphins. I thought that if we let him get away without feeding them that he would regret it later. He was very apprehensive, but was glad he got to do it when it was all said and done. Doug and I finished off his fish so that we could sneak a quick touch. This was the highlight of the day for me!
Mom handing out fish.

Mom getting a quick touch of the rubbery animals.

Connor taking his turn.

Grant taking his turn with a little help from mom.

Doug taking a turn.

Doug chasing Preston down as we all laughed except for poor Preston.

Doug making Pres take his turn.

The boys watching the Shamu show.

Shamu splashing the crowd.

Mom coming back from riding the roller coaster ride by myself. Doug always lets me self-indulge myself while he watches the boys:)

Grant watching for mom:)

Preston showing off his Shamu plate/cup from lunch. It's the little things in life that count.

Grant showing us where to go next. He wanted that map all day long.

The twins and I taking a load off at lunch.

The dolphin show that had acrobats and synchronized swimmers.

The boys enjoying the show.

Don't they look alike:)

Checking out the penguins.

This is the water roller coaster ride the twins insisted on riding with mom. Just when I thought they would cry they started laughing and wanted to go again...we didn't just because the line was so long!

The big boy getting a ride from dad because his dogs were barking.

Doug and I enjoying watching the boys play on a pirate ship.

The boys at the entrance before leaving the park for the day.

We actually lost Grant as we left the park. Doug thought he was with me and I thought he had him. We lost him in the store we walked through in order to get to the exit. Doug went straight back in the park and he was with a worker. He didn't leave our side the rest of the trip!
We weren't in the car 10 minutes and the twins were OUT! We plum wore them out making them walk all around the park like BIG BOYS, but they hardly complained at all:)

We were acting silly while driving to the highway.

Man, oh, Man!

What a Day!!!
