Meet The Teacher Night

The much anticipated night has finally come...meet the teacher night. I could hardly wait to see who the kids all got for their teachers this year. This can literally make or break an entire year of learning and mental attitude of a child. Much to my surprise, the letter I wrote concerning the twins and the teachers that would possibly be a good fit for them based on their personalities...we got!!! I wanted someone with a strong demeanor that could handle Grant's sometimes strong personality and someone that was very caring for Preston. Grant's teacher is Mrs. Ramirez, the lead teacher, who comes to us with a military background and truly loves her job. Preston got Mrs. Spradley who remembers us from Mother's Day Out when she taught a different class, but remembers the twins faces. I love knowing that we have at least one christian teacher. We walked into the Kindergarten wing and at first they were a little nervous, but quickly got over their fears and were mad when we made them leave. Preston and Grant wanted to stay and play...I told them they would be back in just a couple of days and they could play all they wanted to:) Connor met his teacher which wasn't as dramatic of an event. He said hi, took a few pics for mom, and we were off. He is such a big boy! Connor, a 3rd grader, does get to go upstairs this year which is a big deal at school.

Mrs. Spradley and Preston...she was shocked that she got a hug at the first meeting:)

Since Connor is getting to big for his britches, I had to take a pic of him at his desk so that I didn't bother him on the first day of school in front of all of his friends.
